Having grown up in Suffolk on the coast I learnt to sail on the Norfolk Broads and enjoyed the wide open fields. I then made the move to London and studied Medicine at The Royal London hospital in Whitechapel before working first in Essex and then moved down to Portsmouth in 2001.

I still enjoy sailing, regularly racing yachts and participating in all sorts of outdoor and waterborne pursuits
